The Alamo Area Housing Finance Corporation (AAHFC) is a public nonprofit corporation, duly organized and incorporated under and pursuant to the Texas Housing Finance Corporations Act as amended, Chapter 394, Texas Local Government Code. The AAHFC seeks to provide financing for affordable, decent, safe and sanitary workforce housing for the residents of Kerr, Gillespie, Kendall, Comal, Guadalupe, Frio, Bandera, Medina, Atascosa, Wilson, and Karnes Counties, and the City of Seguin and City of New Braunfels. Bexar County is not a part of the AAHFC as it has its own housing finance entity.
