Who We Serve
Serving Texans In the Alamo Region
Older Adults
The Area Agencies on Aging are committed to fostering a community where older residents can age in place with dignity, security, and an improved quality of life. Through our services and support, we aim to empower older adults to live independently and thrive in their own homes.
Veterans
AACOG collaborates with nonprofit organizations to create a strong support network for veterans and their families. Through this partnership, we ensure that resources and services are readily available to meet the unique needs of those who have served our country.
Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD)
We serve as the local “front door” for service options to support individuals with IDD of all ages.
Low-Income Assistance
AACOG provides low-income individuals and families with access to a variety of support programs, including utility assistance, food aid, residential repair applicable to weatherization, and more. Our services are designed to help those in need improve their quality of life and achieve greater stability.
